Indications: Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus: To improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes, as an adjunct to diet and exercise. Cardiovascular Risk Reduction: To reduce the risk of cardiovascular death and hospitalization for heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes and established cardiovascular disease, or in those with heart failure with reduced ejection fraction (HFrEF) regardless of diabetes status. Chronic Kidney Disease: To reduce the risk of sustained eGFR decline, end-stage kidney disease, cardiovascular death, and hospitalization in adults with chronic kidney disease (CKD) at risk of progression.
