Used for: Treat primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) Dissolve gallstones when surgery is not an option Prevent the formation of gallstones in people at high risk Directions: Take as directed by your doctor. Tablets shod be swallowed whole with water. Do not chew or crush the tablets. Pack size: 20 film-coated tablets Active ingredient: Ursodeoxycholic acid 500 mg Dosage: The usual dosage for PBC is 13-15 mg/kg/day. The usual dosage for dissolving gallstones is 8-10 mg/kg/day. The usual dosage for preventing gallstones is 300-500 mg/day.
