Used for: Treat conditions where there is too much acid in the stomach, such as duodenal and gastric cers, erosive esophagitis, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), and Zollinger-Ellison syndrome. Prevent acid-related damage to the stomach and esophagus during long-term treatment with nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
