Used for: Prevent and treat attacks of gout (acute gouty arthritis) Treat familial Mediterranean fever (FMF) Directions: For gout: Take 1 tablet (0.5 mg) as soon as the first signs of an attack occur, followed by 1 tablet every 1-2 hours for up to 12 hours. If the attack is not controlled after 12 hours, discontinue Colmediten and const your doctor. For FMF: Take 1 tablet (0.5 mg) 1-2 times daily, or as directed by your doctor. Pack size: 100 tablets Active ingredient: Colchicine 0.5 mg Dosage: For gout: 1 tablet (0.5 mg) every 1-2 hours for up to 12 hours, as needed.
